Um, I have the same problem. If you were to see my yarn stash, you'd have me committed. I've bought about 2 large rubbermaid storage bins FULL of yarn in the last year, and that doesn't include the fiber I bought for spinning, the spinning wheel, and all of the stuff for my dyeing business. Ok...now I just freaked myself out! ;)
As far as shoes go- do you have any old, ratty sneakers or weather worn boots you can use as your "toss outs"?
Oh I am a shoe hoarding queen! There is nothing better than buying new shoes. Boots in the fall and winter make me feel just a fabulous. The beauty of shoe shopping is no matter how much extra poundage IF has put upon us, our shoe size always stays the same :-).
You said 4 pairs, but you didn't specify four of YOURS did you?? Can't you throw out four of his? They only need like three pairs of shoes anyways: one black, one brown, and a pair of sneakers.
Has he counted the pairs that you have? I have actually rescued shoes from the "give away" pile in the garage (under cover of night). The Man never notices.
Sorry, I am totally a shoe enabler.
And Shelby, we seem to have the same stash issues.
I get the same rush off shopping, so maybe we both have a problem.

ReplyDeleteWhen we got married I specifically requested a line item in our budget for shoes.
ReplyDeleteDon't deny the shoes. Shoes are wonderful additions to our lives. :)
Can we at least have photos of the new shoes?
There's nothing like a good shoe buzz!
ReplyDeleteShoes can fix almost anything.
