Sorry I've been MIA. Work was crazy and then we took off to FL for a few days. Came back to a shitstorm of course. So yes, I owe you all a real legit post but this is going to be a quick little vent before I get back to work (yes, it's 9 PM) about parents acting like children.
Just found out tonight that not only is my dad moving out and getting a divorce, but that he's moving 8 hours away....on Friday. Seem a little hasty?? Not for someone who's clinically depressed and regularly self-medicates with car bombs (the drink, not an actual bomb). When my brother talked to him about his drinking, he said it's ok because he typically only binge drinks 1-2 times/week and he never drives. Sounds like a teenager at all???
So I'm left with a wreck of a mother, an insane amount of work to do, and pretty crappy mental health of my own. My mom is staying with us tomorrow night so she doesn't have to be around when my dad loads up his truck. Ridiculous.
Again, sorry for the dump and I do promise a real post as soon as I get my head above water

- Jan 22 saw heartbeat at 6w3d...guess it's real
- 18 dpiui beta = 1077!
- 16dpiui beta = 450
- 13dpiui beta = 121
- Dec 07- IUI #2- 50 mg C.lomid + 150 IU F.ollistim = BFP!
- Nov 07- IUI #1-50 mg C.lomid + 75 IU f.ollistim = BFN
- Nov 5- BFN, beta dropped to less than 5, chemical pregnancy
- Nov 1-BFP on 4 HPT--what a suprise!!!!
- October 07-Sept was annovulatory, waiting on AF to start first IUI
- September 07-on the bench
- August 07- officially diagnosed with "unexplained fertility", going to start with IUI
- July/August 07- CD 3 bloodwork all normal, HSG all clear!!!
- June 07-finally get first RE appt!
- March 07- CD 21 progesterone test showed I didn't ovulate that month, Hubby's SA came back with low morphology. Gyno referred us to an RE
- Feb 07- scheduled appt with gyno, charting showed late O and probably LPD
- June 06- got serious! Started charting and using CBEFM
- June 05- went off bcp, sometimes preventing, sometimes trying, not taking the whole thing too seriously
- April 05- We got married!!

I wonder if there is something in the air. I know two people who have in the past month done things similar to this. One with diagnosed mental disorders who supposedly isn't taking her meds and another who is undiagnosed and almost yearly at this time of year gets really bad. It always seems about this time of year that people start having episodes.
I hope they work something out as much as for your Dad as the rest of the family.

Yikes! So sorry to read about the issues with your family, but remember, when you are taking care of everyone else, don't forget to take care of yourself too.

I am so, so sorry that this is happening to you and your family. It absolutely sucks. I can only imagine how hard it is to be asked to step into a different role with your parents right as you're preparing to step into a different role in your life in general. ((HUGS))

Ugh, so sorry! Parents that act like kids drive me crazy too. My mom and dad are divorced and he lives in Georgia (we are in NJ) ad also left very suddenly. My mom plans trips out of town when she knows he is coming to see my brother and I! nclm

That sucks...family issues are always such a huge stress...try to keep yourself calm for the pregnancy and just hug your Mom as much as possible.
