You've reached the end of the in.ternet

Yup, I have. I was just obsessively googling (what else is a girl supposed to do during the 2ww) and googled my own blog. I've come full circle, there's nothing else out there for me. Funny thing is, I certainly don't have the answer!

I love this quiet before the holidays. We slept in, cleaned a little, and ran some errands (BAD idea to wait until today to go to the grocery store). We're hosting Christmas Eve dinner...but I'm taking the slacker route and doing a ham.

Had a really weird experience last night. Went out with a bunch of girlfriends, some of whom have moved away and are back in town for the holiday. After dinner we were at someones apartment and they all started talking about the bcp. I felt so out of the conversation. I haven't taken bcp in 2.5 years. Apparently there are new ones out there! I wanted to shake this one girl who says even with her pill she hasn't gotten a period in 4 months....but her dr isn't worried! I wish I knew her better, so I could just tell her to be more proactive.

And since I finally decorated....here's a few pics!

Our tree-I realized we're missing a box of stuff, so it's a little sparse

The stockings are hung on the bookcase with care. The little one in the middle is kitty's ;)

And speaking of...here's how he 'helped' decorate ;)

I love that you googled yourself! Awesome.

I also went to the grocery store today. Also a bad idea.

What a cute kitty picture! When I was visiting my parents, we got a picture of my kitty sitting under the tree, in the wrapped, cast iron skillet that my dad bought my mom for Christmas.

That's interesting about googling yourself. It's funny, I've tried before to google myself and other than for about 2 years where my name would pop up with a poem I had published in my college literary book nothing has ever come up. I am sort of glad of this because while I love having blog readers, I can think of about 4 or 5 people whom I would not want reading my blog.
I did BCP's for quite a few years. There have been times that I have wondered if they have contributed to my problems now. They actually make one now that allows you to go without a period for quite a while.

haha.. I've come up in my own searches before as well. I felt both proud & weird.

The tree & the kitty are both beautiful.
Merry Christmas to you.. I hope you get a real Christmas miracle this year.

Google has produced my own blog (sometimes just that site) in response to quite a few of my queries!

Love those pictures. My kitties have just been living under our tree lately, pretending to be presents.

Have a very Merry Christmas!

Cats in Boxes!!! This is why my cats love the holidays - lots and lots of boxes.

Googled yourself... LOL...

I know I haven't been posting comments lately - too much going on with the kids I don't have time to keep up like I wish I did (don't we all wish for down time!?!?) & I hope you had a WONDERFUL Holiday!!!

My cat and dog are the most "helpful" creatures around. They sure know how to get in the way. Sometimes I get annoyed but, truthfully, it makes me feel special somehow. It's great to know that your attention is appreciated!

Hang in there. Try to distract yourself as much as possible!

XOXO
